About Dinesh Singh

With 30 years of marketing, business development and channel sales experience, Dinesh has established himself as a leader and marketer with a penchant for both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the profession. He has a strong understanding of what makes great brands tick the way they do and has an appreciation of campaigns that have branding at the forefront of the marketing strategy.

A University of Oregon graduate with majors in Finance and Marketing, his career has brought him through roles in film distribution, property leasing, brand and loyalty marketing, media and product development.

During his recent roles at the National University of Singapore Society, he was responsible for $10,000,000 revenue and involved in sales and marketing membership programs that resulted in over $1,000,000 in new membership revenue. He currently is Vice President of Business Development APAC of global fintech company FundCount, where he is responsible for driving revenue within the Private Equity, Fund Management, Fund Administration and Family Office sectors.

He has held various senior leadership positions at the registered Institution of Public Character – The Foundation of Rotary Clubs – where he was responsible to drive key fundraising campaigns that raised over $700,000, and was CEO for the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce where he was responsible for the organization for establishing national level events.

Dinesh has held sales and channel development roles in MNCs such as Samsung SDS’s OpenTide, Fisher General Scientific and SuperBrands. In his roles across these organizations, he has been instrumental in increasing sales from 30% up to 10X.

Dinesh is a regular feature speaker at various marketing conferences and a regular contributor to marketing journals. He has featured as a professional marketer in the Marketing Institute of Singapore’s magazine Marketer and contributed articles to their online magazine. He is a featured moderator and judge for startup pitch competitions.

He is a proud daddy of two and lives with his extended family. He loves sharing time and cooking for his loved ones. A self-confessed foodie, Dinesh enjoys spicy Asian delights, golf and reading business-related books.

As an active civic member of society, he served on management and working committees of the Singapore Indian Education Trust, and is currently Treasurer of the Club Managers’ Association (Singapore) and Advisory Panel and Community Partnership Committee Member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Singapore. In his roles at these organizations, Dinesh taps on his marketing, advertising, and brand building backgrounds to further their causes.
